Our new puppy wakes up at 6:10am, yes everyday that is. So no exceptions for Sunday… To kick start the day I made a chocolate hemp shake with almond milk, ice cubes, banana, chia and flax seeds. Super delish, lots of (plant based) proteins and rich in fiber. Try it! I’m all set to hit the trails with the dog now!

I love couscous: easy to prepare, it has a nice bite to it and fills you up too. For this salad i used whole wheat couscous, made with cumin and cinnamon, roasted sweet potato, onion, snow peas, carrot and cucumber, cumin and some chopped up almonds. First make the couscous, then sauté the veggies: done in 5. yeah.
Easy peasy, lemon squeezy: green mixed salad, some cucumber, olives and home made guacamole. A winner! and too easy! For the guacamole I use: cilantro, avocado, garlic, fresh lime juice, red onion, pepper and a pinch of salt. Just perfect.
This is gonna be so much fun! Gifted fools together with the super cool shop “sparrow and nest” in the Heights, Houston, will do a series of fun pen pal workshops. For both kiddies and adults! Make your own pretty stationary and make a lot of new pen pal friends!
